This configuration is better suited to customers who want a fixed-mount solar installation, such as an appropriate RV, vehicle, structure, or other compatible mounting application.
Please review the selected configuration before adding the product to your cart. Solar panel type, rated solar capacity, mounting equipment, included accessories, and price depend on the configuration selected.
Choosing a Solar Configuration
Both configurations use the same Explorer 1500 Ultra Portable Power Station. The primary difference is the type of solar installation.
2 × SolarSaga 200W — Portable Solar
The two SolarSaga 200W panels provide 400W of combined rated solar panel capacity.
This configuration is intended for customers who want portable solar panels that can be deployed when needed for camping, emergency backup, travel, or other temporary solar-power applications.
2 × SolarSaga 100 Prime — Fixed-Mount Solar
The two SolarSaga 100 Prime panels provide 200W of combined rated solar panel capacity.
This configuration includes Anderson-to-DC8020 adapters and Z-Bracket Kits, making it better suited to compatible fixed-mount solar applications.
The best configuration depends on whether you prioritize greater included portable solar capacity or a fixed-mount solar installation.
Solar Charging
The Explorer 1500 Ultra supports up to 800W of compatible solar input.
The two configurations available on this page provide:
-
2 × SolarSaga 200W: 400W combined rated panel capacity
-
2 × SolarSaga 100 Prime: 200W combined rated panel capacity
The maximum solar-input capability of the Explorer 1500 Ultra is therefore greater than the included rated solar-panel capacity of either configuration.
Actual solar generation and charging time depend on sunlight intensity, panel orientation, shading, temperature, installation, battery state of charge, connected equipment, and other environmental conditions.
Charging Options
The Explorer 1500 Ultra supports multiple charging methods.
AC charging: Approximately 1.5 hours under supported conditions.
Solar charging: Up to 800W of compatible solar input.
Vehicle charging: Compatible vehicle charging is supported using appropriate Jackery charging equipment.
Compatible higher-power alternator charging may also be available using separately sold Jackery equipment.
Actual charging times vary according to the power source, connected equipment, battery state of charge, environmental conditions, and other factors.
Rugged Design
The Explorer 1500 Ultra is designed for demanding portable and outdoor applications.
Jackery specifies an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water exposure under the conditions defined by that rating.
The system also incorporates impact-resistant construction intended to provide additional protection during transportation and outdoor use.
An IP rating does not mean the product is suitable for submersion or unrestricted exposure to water. Always operate and store the system according to Jackery's instructions.
Operating Temperature
The Explorer 1500 Ultra has a specified discharge temperature range of approximately 5°F to 113°F (-15°C to 45°C).
At temperatures between approximately 5°F and 14°F (-15°C to -10°C), available output power may be limited to approximately 1,000W as part of the system's low-temperature battery protection.
Charging is specified for temperatures from approximately 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C).
Warranty
The Jackery Explorer 1500 Ultra is covered by Jackery's 3-year manufacturer's limited warranty, subject to Jackery's applicable warranty terms, eligibility requirements, exclusions, and claim procedures.
